Bursting with Speed Run/Walk

We support many initiatives and charitable events, including the annual Bursting with Speed 5k and Half Mile to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Benny Burst, Jr., the father of MediaBlink’s co-founders, was a faith-filled family man and avid runner and fisherman. He logged several full marathons and could be spotted most mornings running through his neighborhood in Metairie, LA. He was married to Yolande Burst for 52 years and they had five children (Benny, Shawn, Scott, Mike and Tara) as well as 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild at the time of his death.

In June 2013, Benny was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). After several rounds of chemotherapy, he lost his fight on December 21, 2013.
